According to my calculations, Chandra Hari Ayanamsa, Topocentric Planetary Positions for Dehradun, India. This new year starts on the 1st of April 2022 at 12.09.00 (in the afternoon).
Given above is the chart for this Vedic New Year 2022, whose king is Saturn and the minister is Jupiter.
This year is named ‘Shubhakrit’ which means the one which does auspicious and beneficial things, after these two years of strict and on and off pandemic where many lives have been lost and much bad news came to shake us, finally it seems that time has changed and now we are into a year which bestows auspiciousness and beneficence on us.
The Lagna for the year is Gemini which shows that many intellectual developments will happen, people will get married and start new relationships but fights tend to continue as the male in Gemini have mace in his hands indicating that suppression of weak is going to happen this year, as it is a dual sign, there will be confusion and chaos as well, but being ruled by the beneficial Mercury it is all for good sooner or later.
This Mercury is in the tenth house of the horoscope in debilitation indicates that finances will be good for this year and we can see new millionaires taking up the financial skies and the price of commodities etc. are going to rise up, stock market also seems to be roaring and people making a lot of profit, however as this Mercury is combust embarrassing events, shame, loss of power and death of prominent personalities and a lot of death’s, in general, is also seen, this also indicates that though the pandemic seems to be over, the death rate either through a pandemic, or new diseases or accidents will continue to happen, war can also be an instigator into this.
The weekday is Friday and Venus is in the ninth house with Jupiter, a lot of beneficence as I told in the previous mail as well, the conditions of women are supposed to improve, many women will break free from the harassment and trauma they have been suffering from and this beneficence is in the ninth house, increase of power for the government through the world, especially in the western countries, north-eastern countries and for south-eastern countries are indicated.
Many miracles will also happen, a good year for spiritual development and advancement, and as it is the duty of the god to vanish bad and establish good, some good, positive changes can be foretold for the whole world. New preceptors will come to light, new knowledge will flow, and new research and intellectual advancements are seen and can be predicted.
This Jupiter is the ninth and the seventh lord, as Rajayoga is being formed, economical conditions are supposed to improve and it seems that many people will get new jobs or get new sources of income, decreasing the unemployment rate throughout the world. The seventh lord in the ninth house indicates lots of travel happening giving a boon to the travel industry which was much needed for the last two years also it indicates many new businesses starting up and many existing businesses claiming their way to becoming financial unicorns.
Mars and Saturn in the eighth house indicate natural disasters and also wars and other such events leading to loss of lives and change in the natural and geographical map happening, Rahu in the eleventh house also indicates that earning money through unethical means, cheating, deceit etc. will also prevail. Ketu in the fifth house makes this time bad for children, but good for scholarships and for new talents to come.

Vikrama Samvata was propagated by king Vikramaditya whose astrologer was Varahamihira, it is the 2079th year of his existence and as we follow his book, I follow Varahamihira’s system of astrology and teach and propagate the same thing, we should be proud of now following a 2079 years old astrological tradition.
Since the start of Kaliyuga, this has been 5123 years now, Abda means a year, the name of this year is ‘Nala’, Nala was a king in earlier times, some texts also describe this year as ‘Anala’ Samvatsara (year).
As per our ancient astrological texts in this Samvatsara, there will be danger and destruction from fire, prices of commodities will increase, the government will make much money and some unethical monetary practices will come in the way. Governments of different countries will be fighting with each other and will do their politics with a motive to suppress and surpass others’s also some major governmental employees of many countries can be found to be in scandals and cheatings etc.
Though the price of commodities will increase as told earlier, people’s income is also increasing, so it should not be much of an issue, leaving aside that those whose income will not increase, will have to suffer the blow of this. Good rains and corps will be there, there will be political, physical and other types of fights and competition between nations and as told earlier people wishing to earn their money through unethical means will be doing major activities, hence some major hackings and such issues can be foretold.
Finding medicine seems to be an issue, grains will be in plenty but processed food and quality of food can be an issue.
