Most of the time aspire of Moksha as this is the 12th sign of the zodiac and the 12th from Pisces is Aquarius condition of Aquarius will decide they are able to fulfil their lives in the way they wanted or they failed in doing so. As it is a short span sign they are short in height but if the ascendant is influenced by tall planets like Saturn, Mercury or Rahu they can have middle height and if Jupiter also comes under their influence then they can be tall. How planets act in Pisces ascendant.

Sun is lord of 6^th house for this ascendant and hence become karaka for hurt and his influence on ascendant gives a lot of accidents to native, houses aspected by him will have marks of accidents or fights. His placement in any house makes that house slow in growth, and they can face rivalry related to that house (Depending on strength of Sun rivals will be that much strong) whatever house he is placed in defects or denies any one aspect of that house. He also shows from where enemies come and his aspect show what enemies want to take away from you. Sun being king having lordship over 6^th house says their enemies are strong. Sun is best placed in 3^rd 6^th 10^th or 11^th house as malefic planet he is well in Upachaya! Whereas his placement in Kendra or Kona is a difficult condition to face as he will destroy important significations. His placement in the 8th house is good especially when he is weak and makes good Vipreet Raaj Yoga. As he is also debilitated. His placement in the 12th house also qualifies for Vipreet Raaj Yoga but he being in Marana Karaka Avastha damages the 12th house and the 6th house to a big extent and for the rise of person he needs to sacrifice a lot. Marana Karaka is worsened if the planet is afflicted but for Vipreet Raaj Yoga to work affliction is a must and this makes the condition tuff and challenging and gives them a hard path before rising. Marana Karaka can only get cancelled when Saturn is in Trine to Lagna or Sun but for this lagna, as Saturn is not a good planet his placement in Kona from lagna will be very bad, especially lagna itself is the worst placement of Saturn. Whereas his placement in Kona form Sun is again challenging as in 4^th house he is bad being a malefic natural as well as temporal whereas his placement in 8^th house can be seen best for both Sun and Saturn but in any case when Saturn be with Sun in 12^th house Sun is complete smashed and effects of 6^th house will be very hard to face and will give lots of torment, hardship and strife to native.

Moon lords 5^th house and what is 5^th house that is Mantra. Mantra is something that binds the mind. There are few houses that relate to the mental level of astrology. Lagna shows overall intelligence, whereas the 3rd house shows how much hard work we can do and how many hard life lessons we can digest. 4th house is formal education. 6th house is what we learn from hard times whereas 8th house is something that comes after constant thinking to a stage of depression and 9th house is what teachers taught us and we developed further whereas 12th house is subconsciousness and shows what is constantly lingering inside the mind, the basic motivation behind everything. Now 5th house is a product of general intelligence (Lagna) this is the hard-work transformation (suppose you worked for a whole day and at evening sat to think that why I did this and got some pearls of wisdom mainly in form of motivation for a better future) is what is indicated by it being 3rd from 3rd house. Being 2nd from 4th house shows what feeds our formal education and shows our level to understand anything. Being 12th from 6th house shows basic motivation behind hard times (sometimes we decide to work hard to achieve something and is ready to suffer anything to have that single thing is what is indicated here) being 10th from 8th house shows karma which gives that much though over which you were thinking to a level of depression (24×7 engaged in the same thought) it being 9th from 9th shows what your guru saw in you before imparting on you that special knowledge that you possess. One must note that the 5th house also denotes skills and future. Being 6th from 12th house shows the weakness of the sub-conscious mind that is the reason ideas come from subconscious mind to conscious mind. Now we come to moon lordship and exaltation of Lagnesh and it becomes very clear to understand them and to know why they are intellectuals. (Aquarius, Pisces, Gemini, Cancer, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius are intellectuals) Shri Ravindra Nath Tagore was Pisces lagna with Jupiter in the 5th house and when we read his poetry we get to know about the depth and power of the 5th house. Moon is best in Kendras and konas for this ascendant and is worst in other places. Moon in 10th house can give some problems with progeny and some abortions and birth after complications can be there. Whereas 7th house gives some initial difficulties and delays in childbirth but isn’t troublesome like 10th house and after some time progeny will be there. They have easy progeny when they marry young but with Moon in 7th house after a certain age (30 years) having progeny for them can be a bit difficult and some delays and much hard work from Native’s side is needed (effort here means having balanced diet, consulting doctors from time to time and keeping care of the food they eat as some foods are bad for the sexual health of Native) his placement in other houses is troublesome except 2nd house and 11th house where he gives much money but again childbirth can be an issue as the moon is mostly afflicted. Planets influencing the moon strongly will decide the person whose influence will be visible in their parenting. Suppose moon is aspected by Debilitated Sun then it can show natives father was cruel and this affected their psychology much that they themselves treat their child, in the same way, making them bad parents.

Mars lords 2^nd and 9^th house. Lord of 2^nd house is said to be natural and his nature must be decided by another sign he lords and here with the lordship of 9^th house along with 2^nd house Mars comes to be benefic. Some are of the opinion that while analyzing houses planets’ Natural Nature needs to be seen while when delineating dasa results planets’ functional nature needs to be seen but that’s not the case. If we follow this criterion then all the calculations of Raj Yogas and other same kinds of Yogas fail. The method of analysis is a mixture of the functional and general nature of the planet. To know the fructification of any house we see the natural nature of the planet placed therein whereas to know the effect of houses governed by planets we see functional nature of planets. And then there are exceptions that lord of 6-8-12 houses are said to damage the house they are placed in this implies no matter their lords be natural malefic or benefic by having lordship of these houses they act like malefic only. Whereas Kendra lords are always neutral and their nature depends on other signs lorded by the same planet but they give prosperity. 12th lord is also said neutral and then bad means he is not a light malefic by his ownership and in regard of planets altering their normal nature and taking the form of their functional nature. 12th – 6th and 8th is the order where 8th lord is extreme malefic and 12th lord is very mild malefic. Generally, it is taken as malefics placed in houses destroy those houses exceptions are when malefics are trines lord. Benefics placed in houses helps that house here exceptions are 12th-6th-8th lord who damages the houses they are placed in. this we saw from planets position into a house and his effect into that house. Now comes the effect of houses owned by planets and this is decided by how planets are placed from houses they own. Whereas results of aspects of planets are decided based on their dignity, one Shloka in Phaladeepika (I am writing from memory, it can be from Saravali or Phaladeepika) says that if Moon is only aspected by Exalted or own house planets then it makes a powerful Raajyoga, this makes our approach clear that aspect of planets is dependent on their situation/dignity. Some people take aspects as to how planets act when they are placed in that house. For example, some people say “the good thing with debilitated planets are that they aspect their exaltation house” whereas in my humble opinion aspect of debilitated planets are bad as they are having no dignity and are suffering and their aspect on their exaltation sign damages the house it is falling. Notice that we talk about Rashi and then analyze aspects of houses this makes this clear that houses and signs are used interchangeably in Jyotish and Chalit Chakra is just a fantasy rose out of a misinterpretation of shlokas. Suppose Mars is in the 5th house in Cancer now being malefic in 5th house it damages 5th house significations but being lord of 9th house it supports significations of 5th house also giving some abortions and difficulties in childbirth but he won’t deny it and give progeny for sure. He is placed in 4th house from 2nd house that is good for 2nd house significations and gives good money, bank balance, better family, big Kutumba (relatives) good speech, beautiful face and his good placement from ascendant shows their experience for native will be pleasant and delighting (we haven’t taken placement from lagna vs. placement from planets own sign for an explanation because it was indicated in another ascendant) his placement in 9th from 9th house is good for this house as well and ensures good luck, support from father, blessings from father, long-living father, highly planed and fortunate father, meeting and mantra Diksha from a guru, good rise in life and enjoyment of Raajyoga. Now his aspect on 11th house 8th house and 12th house should be taken as good or bad. In my opinion, he being bad his aspects are bad and this results in bones can break in an accident, native can suffer from hereditary diseases, bad luck in gambling, short life (8th house) low on gains, no elder brother, money can be struck, wishes aren’t fulfilled (11th house) and a person can sleep more (even while day) can feel timid, lazy and introvert, thinks more does less and is over sexual, forces people to do things for him and engaged in worthless activities (12th house) nowhere just pay attention what I said is what a good astrologer will say have we ever used Rashi. Have we said that Mars is in 9th from Scorpio so occult studies will increase or we wrote that Mars is in 4th from Aries so a person will be courageous and warlike (we wrote timidly for his bad aspect on 12th house of escape/bondage) what we did is we took placement of his from his own Rashi but wrote effects of houses they are falling in and we used houses and Rashis interchangeably? Because doing this gives us different effects for the same Mars for different ascendants whereas if we say effect only from Rashi it will be too general as Mars remains in the same Rashi for more than one month. So here stands the statement of Varamihira where he says Houses, Rashis are the same things and should not be confused making the concept of Chalit Chakra a mere fantasy (more on this will be written in the coming future) here it was indicated just to give a glance on how analysis is made.

For this ascendant Mars is well placed in Kendra and Konas. Being temporal benefic. He is good in the 2^nd house is in his own sign and good in the 3rd 6th 11th house being Malefic in upachaya; his only bad placements are in the 8th and 12th houses. However, in each and every house, he is good for one house and bad for another to varying extents. Like in 8th house he is good for money as he aspects 2nd house but bad for fortune being 12th from 9th house whereas in 9th house he is good for fortune but bad for family being in 8th from 2nd house and indicating that to make a fortune person must leave his family and start living alone at their own. But 9th lord in the 9th house again shows success in the place where his father was born. Now, these two conflicting results must be synchronized using other planetary placement before embarking on predictions. His 4^th aspect is protective and attains special attention to this as it shows what he protects and in doing so he kills what falls under his 8^th aspect.

Mercury lords the 4th and 7th house and is badhakadhipathi. He suffers from Kendradhipatya dosa. And then he is Badhak. Like life, Jyotish is also made up of conflicting things and balance is much needed and those who have balance in their charts lead successful lives in that concerned area. Having Kendradhipatya dosa his placement in Kendra won’t help him making Rajyoga and his placement in Kona only makes Rajyoga but this makes Konas suffer from badhaka dosa and gives hurdles in matters ruled by that particular triangular house. For badhaka to become ineffective Mercury must be weak in Konas and if he is so he loses his power to make Raajyoga. Now, this is a very conflicting situation with the 7th lords in all 4 dual ascendants. Now there are 4 kinds of active relationships between planets and 5th one is inactive or to say supportive relationship between planets. The four kinds of active relationships are 1. Planets in each other’s signs, 2. The planet is aspected by his Dispositor, 3. Planets having mutual aspect, 4. Planets conjunct. (Inactive relationship I am leaving, for now, this will be taken some other time as it is very important and very frequently used in Dasa Systems) The relationship between planets and houses can also be made using these rules. 1. Planet in house, 2. Planet aspecting house lord, 3. Planet aspecting house. Now the relationship between two houses can also be seen if their lords are connected with planetary relationships. (Relationships like human relationships are complex and extended and another paper on this will be written in the coming future) now Mercury placed in any other Kendra house don’t make Raajyoga his placement in Konas can make Raajyoga but also give Badhak (Stronger the Raajyoga stronger is the badhaka) now relationship 2, 3 and 4 between Kona lords and Mercury can make Raajyoga for Pisces ascendant people. Thus Mercury placed in 3rd and 11th house is good here. Especially when he is not under Natural Malefics influences as their influence instigate badhaka. Or at other places connected with Kona lord’s best of them will be the 12th house where badhaka will be gone (Least powerful) and being connected with Kona lord he will be giving Raajyoga. But 4th lord moon with mercury seems to be bad being in 8th from 5th house whereas 9th lord Mars or Ketu with mercury in 12th house looks good to give Raajyoga. But their enmity may cause disturbances as both Ketu and Mars are inimical to mercury. In other places, he is both malefic as well as benefic as being Kendra lord he supports house (mind that there is difference between supporting a house – Kendra lords and flourishing a house – Kona lord) but along with he also gives badhaka to that house he is placed in especially when Badhaka is strong as well as afflicted badha will also be strong and troublesome. The strength of badhak shows how strong the badha is whereas his affliction shows how much ugly face badhaka can take.

Jupiter is lagna lord and another lord owing two Kendras but being Lagnesh he is free from all blemishes as Lagnesh and Navamesha are very pure planets. Jupiter can make Raajyoga especially when he is placed in Kona. Jupiter in Kendra or Kona is a big blessing and when Jupiter is lord of any Kendra or Kona then it is a special blessing. As from Any Kona he makes Raajyoga being lord of a Kendra as well as Kona (lagna) in another Kona and his aspect on the other two konas transfers his beneficence to other konas making the chart extremely powerful and potent. Raajyoga in Kona is a blessing and in Kendra, it needs some conditions to be fulfilled lagna requires one to be confident a truthful whereas 4th house demands purity and dedication, 7th house demands for good harmonious relationship and compromise whereas 10th house demands work and effort for Raajyoga to get activated, whereas from Konas Raajyoga flow like blessings. 2nd house involved in Raajyoga like Jupiter and Mars in 2nd house or say 2-8 axis demands family support for Raajyoga to come or a good bank balance or native to settle his family first before enjoying Raajyoga. 3rd house demands for hard-work support of younger siblings. 6th hose Raajyoga are hard to make work as it comes to fructification after much hard work, strife, struggle, humiliation, suffering and whatnot.  8th house gives Raajyoga in heredity but comes to fructify in later part of life when native crosses his middle age. And along with this gives many suffering and long diseases. 11th house needs the support of elder brother, good listening to advice, serving guru, confidence in person and zeal and determination to fulfil owns dreams for Raajyoga to get activated whereas 12th house demands moving to a foreign land, meditation, concentration and planning for Raajyoga to get activated. These conditions are applicable when raajyogas are being made in this house or these house lords are in Raajyoga but remember a strong 6th 8th or 12th lord in Raajyoga can mar Raajyoga as well. Better if they are connected to remain weak for Raajyoga to function. Jupiter is well placed in Kendras and Konas in the 2nd house he makes Dhanyoga and 11th house again he makes Dhanyoga but is bad for elder siblings and fulfilment of wishes. 11th house Jupiter gives one between elder brother, money and progeny. Decide by analyzing these houses carefully. With other planets (even one) this condition of Jupiter nullifies and all effects can be seen together. Jupiter in 6-8-12 houses is horrible as he loses his nature and become malefic along with being afflicted killing Raajyoga’s potential. His placement in the 3rd house in Marana Karaka Sthana is bad until he gets Marana Karaka Bhanga and the person is very much concerned about his image that can stun his growth.

Venus is lord of the 3rd and 8th house and is a temporal malefic but good for this lagna as his exaltation is in ascendant. But however, his placement in Kendra or Kona takes bad effect of 8th house to that house damaging good significations of that house and Venus being benefic support Venus relayed significations of that house.  Like Venus in lagna makes weak body but beautiful face, 2nd house bad for the family but good for voice and gets sweets to end giving diabetes (aspect on 8th house) but won’t give death due to it as being 8th lord protects his house. 3rd house makes timid and bad for siblings but gives sexual fulfilment (be special careful here he is also 3rd lord and will damage his own house only to an extent being lord of 8th house but will save many things being in his own house). 4th house bad for mother but good for conveniences, 5th house bad for progeny and good for skills such as drawing, fame, signing. 6th house makes Vipreet Raaj Yoga especially when he is weak and kills employment chances but is good for extramarital affairs. 7th house is bad for marriage but good for sexual pleasures. 8th house he is somewhat good being lord. 9th house bad for fortune but good for extra-marital ties. 10th house bad for the profession but gives flings with collogues. 11th house bad for siblings and fulfilment of wishes but good for gains. 12th house is bad for spirituality but good for sexual desires. Being Guru of demons he kills Sattwik significations of houses limits Rajasic signification of houses and increases Tamasic signification of houses.  (Same can be applied to Jupiter and the statement that Jupiter damages the house he is placed in can be understood in a new light)

Saturn is lord of the 12th and 11th houses and is instrumental in giving Money and fulfilment of wishes. Varahamahira praises Saturn only in his own or Jupiterian sign and says his effects is like his own house even in Jupiterian signs. But own house he is materially successful whereas Jupiterian sign is spiritually successful. His placement in Lagna is Marana Karaka Sthana and is bad until Bhanga for this happens and in Marana Karaka Avastha he destroys chances of having elder siblings or maternal grandfather or paternal grandmother can die before native’s birth but his placement in 1st 2nd or 11th house gives Dhana Yoga especially when Jupiter makes any connection with him that must not be conjunction. His placement in the 3rd house gives much expenditure. 4th house makes old age miserable and gives income through property and agriculture. 5th house is good for income but bad for life after 50. 6th house being Upachaya is a good placement for malefic that only increases his general significations related effects like Saturn is karaka for miseries and here he gives fewer miseries but his placement for money isn’t significant whereas he shows expenditure on diseases but not useless expenses. His placement in the 7th house gives the delay in marriage, income from wife, bad marital life and pious and tall wife who is skinny with the prominent jawline and upper cheekbones. His placement in the 8th house is bad for the profession good for investment and gives a delay in childbirth. His placement in the 9th house gives a good income but stuns luck and the person is best when he keeps doing the same jobs and don’t try to change job or increase his fortune and this also indicates a difficult start in life. His placement in the 10th house gives irregular jobs, odd working hours, expenses but the native is greedy and falls from his career height once in life. 12th house he is good for money gives fewer expenses and person spends on unholy and low deeds. Good for keeping money stored but gives long-lasting diseases that cause internal weakness and stuns fortune growth and luck.
