A friend of mine messaged me over WhatsApp, congratulating me on my correct prediction regarding Loksabha Elections of 2019, especially pointing out that “as you have told that Amit Shah Ji will be heading the government despite that fact that Prime Minister is Modi Ji,” he adds “at that time (when I wrote an article making that prediction” it was difficult to believe but what we see today ‘s environment is clear that your prediction was to dot.”

He then further asks me “Also same for Kejriwal. Will he be again as Chief Minister for Delhi” he asked the question at 10.17 PM on 1st February 2020, at that time I was in Faridabad.

So in this article, I will use two Prashna, one cast at the time when I started writing this article, and another Prashna of the time when my friend asked the question to answer the question of “Who will rule Delhi in 2020”.

What is a Prashna – I wish to tell here about what is Prashna, as some people may not be knowing about it. Prashna is called Horary Astrology in English/Western world, it is horoscope cast for the moment when someone asks a question, the time place etc. to be taken is of Astrologer, as it is an astrologer who is referred as Samvatsarika in Purana’s.
It is usually done in multiple cases, for example, if question is too minute to be seen from horoscope, for example, will I get married to this lady, now you will get married someone when, and how will be your marital life can be answered through birth chart, but if you ask, will he/she be my spouse, then I have to resort to Prashna. When birth time is not known as person wants to know something about himself then also Prashna can be resorted to, also in case of unknown birth times, we can use Nashta Jataka (lost horoscopy), which is a method based on Prashna, which is used to reconstruct lost horoscopes but let we leave that topic for some other day. Prashna can also be resorted to in such cases (as this one) where classical guidance is not available or sufficient, for example, there is no classical astrological technique in Vedic Astrology to know about the outcome of elections, as an election is a recent phenomenon, in earlier times monarchy, was prevalent.

Methods of Prashna – There are multiple methods of Prashna, some do it using principles of Hayana, nowadays mistakenly known by the name of Tajika. Some do it using the Nakshatra Principles developed by K.S.Krishnamurthy and name it as K.P.Prashna, whereas some other read chart in a normal way, as they read any birth chart and name it Parashara Prashna, some people use methods of Nadi in Prashna and name it Bhrigu Prashna. However, the most accurate system to Prashna is Ashtamangala Prashna, practised extensively in Kerala. But Ashtamangala Prashna cannot be done for everything it is limited to few area’s only such as Ashtamangala Devaprashna (done for temples), Ashtamanagala Rogaprashna (done for diseased people), Ashtamangala Vivahaprashna (done for marriage), Ashtamangala Santanaprashna (done for progeny related queries only).

My Guru taught me that Ashtamanagala Prashna is named Ashtamangala because it considers eight important things related to Shakuna (omens), however behind these eight omens the rules are just “interpretation of Brihat Jataka by Varahamihira”.

So in this Prashna also, I am going to use Varaha’s method of the strength of Kendra to place different political signs in different Kendra’s and then I am going to use Kerala’s traditional rules of judging strength to decide who will be the winner.

Analysis of Prashna cast by myself (article writing time)

In this Prashna, I am taking the 10th house for ruling part (AAP – Aam Aadmi Party), 4th house for the prime opposition (BJP – Bharatiya Janata Party) and Lagna for the secondary opposition (INC – Indian National Congress).

The 10th house AAP – The 10th house which indicates the ruling party is aspected by Jupiter who is with Ketu in 3rd Navamsaka in 6th Navansha. The lord of 10th house Mars is in Scorpio his own sign being Sthanabali who is in Ashtama Navamshaka in 8th Navansha. The final overpowering strength comes from Aries being in the 10th house, Aries being an animal sign becomes Sthanabali in 10th house.
Lord and Rashi both being Sthana Bali indicates owing to works of Aam Aadmi Party in these years, they will secure a win, but that won’t come easily as 8th, 6th and 3rd in multiple Navansha dispositions hints that they may have to collaborate and also few members who were promised some positions before may get disappointed.

The 4th house BJP – The 4th house which indicated the prime opposition party doesn’t have any kind of strength except the fact that Libra is a human sign which gets some strength in consideration of stronger Lagna. Hence what more to say except that lord Venus is in 12th Navamsaka in 5th Navansha which means they get few people supporting them.

Lagna, Congress – The ascendant (known as Lagna) which indicates secondary opposition INC, have few strengths one of the lord (of Cancer) being in Upachaya which means the party may gain more than expected, along with this Moon being Sthanabali as well, Congress will get some good remarks on account of their previous works in Delhi and also emotional support of people on account of a recently died mother.
Hint – Moon rules Sha Varga (Moon rules the letter – व, श,स ष and ह)

Looking at the prospects of the chart, and a strong relationship between Moon and Mars in both Rashi and Navansha does it indicate that some undesired circumstances bring them together to form a government giving disappointment (Ketu) to the supporter of Kejriwal, who is already much insulted on account of his tries of collaboration previously, or will one extra strength of Jupiter makes Aam Aadmi Party strong enough to sail through the turmoil itself, only God knows, I as an astrologer can just hint at dots, it is his duty to connect them.

Analysis of Prashna asked by my Friend

At the time of this Prashna (asked by my Friend/Student), it was Sunday, with Saptami Tithi, Asvini Nakshatra, Shubha Nityayoga, Ananda Anityayoga, and Vaniija Karana.

This makes a bad Samvarta Yoga which is a bad Yoga, Sagittarius and Cancer (5th and 10th house respectively goes in Tithi Dagdha), Sun suffers on account of being in Masa Shunya Nakshatra, Capricorn suffers on account of being Masa Sunya, but the one most suffering as per Panchanga is Ketu who gets both Masa Sunya by bein in mala and also Tithi Balarishta.

Favourable Panchanga Yogas are Sarvarthasiddhi Yoga which is one of the very major Yoga’s promising positive outcome to Prashna, along with this Ananda Yoga and Shubha Yoga also indicates auspicious but the most important thing is Moon at 07 Degree 50 Minutes in Asvini which is very near its Yogatara which falls at 8 degrees in Asvini.

Important – Asvini, in Veda’s is worshipped as a king having two horses, who always righteously protect his kinsmen, thus it indicates only the one who cares about people shall be supported by this Prashna.

Lagna in 10th Navansaka and 6th Navansha, along with Lagna Lord Jupiter being in his own sign, in 7th Navanshaka from where he aspects Lagna as well, supports the Prashna and indicates a positive answer, the difficulty of conjunction with Ketu which indicates disenchantment and disappointment also should not be feared of because Ketu himself is suffering to a great extent that he cannot afflict Jupiter. However, Venus in 12th in Saturnine sign indicates that some of his subordinates may create a problem and a lot of money and opportunity may get wasted as well.

Moon giving Anapha to Lagna supports Lagna. 9th lord in 9th although being malefic brings fortune and the most important combination of Lagna lord being in 10th promises kingship again to Kejriwal.
