My name is Shubham Alock Singh. I was born in a family of astrologers. My grandfather’s grandfather’s father, six generations ago, went to Vishalakshi Shaktipeetham in Varanasi, which is close to Kashi Vishvanath Temple, the Jyotirlinga of Varanasi, and learnt astrology and the methods of worshipping the mother goddess by living there for two decades.
For people living in South India, Vishalakshi, Kamakshi, and Meenakshi form the most important goddess triad, encompassing the three most prominent forms of the female divinity.

Mother Vishalakshi (Big Eyed One) is on the leftmost side with Mother Kamakshi (Fulfiller of Wishes and Desires) and Meenakshi (Having Fish-Like Eyes).
After spending two decades in Varanasi, he taught his children and his brothers’ children astrology and Shakti Sadhana (worship of the mother goddess). Since then, the practice of Astrology and the worship of the divine mother have been in our family, and it is now in the sixth generation, considering myself as the sixth-generation astrologer of the family.
My father and paternal uncle practise astrology and people from surrounding villages and other cities also come to consult them and get their astrological horoscopes to read along with seeking advice regarding Mantra, getting initiated in the worship of the mother goddess and for the purpose of seeking other Mantric and Tantric remedies, such as getting a Yantra made, getting some objects infused with mantra’s etc.
Being born in an astrological family who learnt astrology in the South Indian stream of knowledge at the place of learning Varanasi also known as Kashi and Banaras, the astrology that I learnt was strictly classical and based on authentic texts written by sages and Acharya of yore in Sanskrit, being learnt this way I also got a good grasp of Sanskrit language to such an extent that today, I can make and translate Sanskrit Shloka’s related to astrology myself.
Being born into a family with an astrological background of more than 600 years, I even began, while still in school, taking astrological books with me and reading them.
After completion of my studies, with an intention to explore and understand astrology deeper, I went to Kerala and lived with my Guru and served him there, learnt the Kerala System of Astrology, though I knew astrology before going to Kerala and have had done around 100 horoscope readings, Kerala was a great experience, as in Kerala Brihat Jatakam of Varahamihira is the prime text and the astrological tradition there was started by Vararuchi who was a friend of Varahamihira and a fellow Navaratna (nine gems) in the court of King Vikramaditya of Ujjain, Vararuchi being a Malayali, took Brihat Jatakam with him to Kerala and started to explain about it to his people post retirement which initiated the Kerala System of Astrology, this happened somewhere in 5th century AD and by being learnt formally and properly while living in Kerala under strict Guru Shisya Parampara.
I had to work there to pay my rent, sleep on a bed without a mattress, wash my clothes myself and after the job and before it, have to visit Guru’s home by foot around 2 km away and have to make notes in a notebook while listening to him, he will not repeat Shloka’s again and if I miss it, it was my mistake as his statement was “As one can’t produce the same child twice, I can’t repeat the thing said once”. Then he will ask some other question four-five days later whose answer is the same Shloka, he uttered some days ago and if you cannot repeat the Shloka as-it-is you will not be taught that Shloka or even that part of astrology, this is how I have learnt there, though it seems difficult it was a great experience, it gave me a view and experience of how it does an Ashtamangala, where you are supposed to give Shloka for everything you utter out of your mouth as an authority and it’s not like astrology of other parts of India where one can say anything without thinking or proper authority at his back.
Belonging to a family that has been worshipping the mother goddess for the last six generations, it was natural for me to become a Shakta, which I am. Along with this, I was fortunate enough to be initiated in the Shri Ramakrishna Mission by Gurudev Shrimat Swami Vagishanand Ji Maharaj, and I have also been initiated in the west Aamnaya worship of Parabhattarika Maa Bhagwati Baglamukhi.
I have been looking at people’s horoscopes, giving consultations and recommending Mantra and other Vedic remedies since 2009 December, and so far have given consultations to more than 4,000 clients all over the world. My clients include common men, businessmen, politicians, and top-ranked government officials, not only from India but also from other countries around the world.
I have been teaching astrology since 2019 and have so far taught more than 70 courses and webinars, totalling more than 1,800 hours of instruction to more than 300 students worldwide. Many of the students I taught have their own separate astrological practise now; they have established themselves in astrology, and many of them are reputed teachers as well. Not only students and newcomers, but also teachers of other students, join my courses to increase, enhance, and expand their knowledge.
I have written in astrological magazines till 2018, after which this website has been the only place where I write, and other platforms where I share my teachings and observations with my followers are my YouTube channel, which is a goldmine of astrological principles and clears many doubts, as per even those astrologers who have been practising astrology for more than 40 years now.
Almost in every field of astrology, I have done original and authentic research which are fresh and new and has been never revealed before, be it my own method of casting divisional charts, more than seven self-made and researched Dasha’s, my own method of calculating Jaimini Chara Karaka’s, Karakamsha, Chara Dasha or be it my own systems of casting astrological charts and reading results therefrom. With an intention of bringing back astrology to the state, stage and grandeur of the time of our sages, In every one of my courses and webinars, I have been teaching my research, principles and formula’s with a pledge to not teach what other astrologers have already taught or researched and also with a pledge to not repeat what I have taught before, I continue to teach a minimum of three classes per week of around six hours in total and do a minimum of one consultation per week.
My motive is to teach original research, techniques, and an understanding of myself and my Parampara, strictly without repeating what others have taught before or taking ideas from others and presenting them under my name, as many people do nowadays with my research, techniques, and teachings. Before teaching anything, as taught in the Kerala system, I support my research with authentic Shlokas and hands-on experience with real horoscopes, not giving hypothetical or self-made examples. In my consultations, I strive to give the most accurate and precise predictions and remedies that actually work, based on my experiences with previous clients, and I don’t believe in giving predictions that intellectually cannot be called a prediction and refrain from giving remedies just for the sake of giving them, like a placebo.
Here I am to spread the light of authentic and bona fide astrology of Parampara, which I belong to, and from the Parampara of our great Sages and Acharya’s of yore, without any compromise whatsoever.
